Description
Painting over salt does not stop salt. Salt Neutralizer converts the soluble salts drawn to the surface by rising damp into an inert form, so the finish above is not pushed off from behind a few months later.
Typical uses
- Walls showing efflorescence or white crystal bloom
- Preparation before plaster, putty or paint on damp-affected masonry
- Rising-damp treatment as part of a full system
Coverage
6 to 8 m² per litre. Brush off loose salt first, apply, allow 24 hours, then re-treat if bloom returns.
