Waterlock is a two-component crystalline system applied as a brush or spray slurry. Active chemicals travel into the concrete and form insoluble crystals in the capillaries; when new water arrives through a hairline crack, the reaction restarts and the crack self-seals.
Typical uses
- Negative-side waterproofing where the positive face is inaccessible
- Lift pits, basements and sumps
- Potable water tanks — non-toxic once cured
Coverage
1.2 to 1.5 kg per square metre in two coats over a saturated surface-dry substrate.
